Smith Diesel collectively offer vast experience and advanced skills in Diesel Maintenance, Repairs and Engine Rebuilds; the core of the business established in 2008 on the West Coast of New Zealand.  

Family roots running deep in historic and modern day Gold Mining naturally led to an expansion in 2013 where by Smith Diesel now own a substantial fleet of heavy machinery and specialise in Earthworks, Plant Hire & Mine Management. 

Our four complimentary divisions work together to enable custom package contracts or one-off projects benefiting the client by dealing with one company, keeping the experience easy, tailored & efficient.

Our core family members are qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics, experienced Machinery Operators and can provide A-Grade mine management & support services. The Smith Diesel core and extended team of tradesmen are ready to meet your needs.
